In 2019 and 2020, I volunteered to design the social media graphics for the annual Seattle MLK Jr. Day workshops. The organizing coalition hosts a variety of workshops, panels, and performances from a variety of community organizations and activists. Each year, I took the list of twenty-five-plus workshops and their descriptions, found open source graphics for each that reflected the topic, and added the appropriate branding, text, and color scheme for each. Below are a sampling of examples for both 2019 (in black, red, and white) and 2020 (in orange and brown).
