About

Project Details

In March of 2017, 2018, and 2018, SISCA (Seattle-Isfahan Sister City Advocacy) held a Persian New Year (Nowruz) celebration at Seattle City Hall.  The event featured speakers, performers, organizations and businesses tabling, children’s activities, and much more.  Open to the public, the event needed signage in both English and Farsi which needed to provide educational information for those not familiar with the holiday.

The event logo was designed by local Iranian-American artist, Misha Zadeh, and I adjusted the layout for it’s various digital and print uses.  I altered the color pallet so that each year would have a distinct but cohesive look.

In addition to providing information about the event itself, I also created name tags for volunteers and speakers/performers, as well as posters showcasing the work that SISCA has done in the community each year.
